Working with research data on a tight timeline can be rough. There are some aspects, tools and practices where librarians can help.
This workshop is intended for research post graduates working as research assistants and faculty who manage teams of people collecting labelling and organising data which will be used in research projects.
This informal workshop will feature:
- naming conventions
- describing your data (metadata)
- preservation and offsite resources
- ways to structure your dataset
Plus introductions to powerful data tools such as Open Refine, Tableau and more.
