To help ensure that Hong Kong Baptist University is fairly assessed in external bibliometric analyses, which affect the University’s perceived research reputation and rankings, all staff and students should ensure that their Hong Kong Baptist University affiliation is correctly stated in their research publications. Any publication with an author byline that does not adhere to the below guidelines cannot be recognised as an HKBU publication.
Adjunct and Honorary staff are also encouraged to follow the same guidelines. This arrangement also allows more efficient harvesting of publications in HKBU’s IRIMS and helps the Library to capture open access publications.
The byline must contain the following components in the following format:
